Pakistan men’s chief selector, Wahab Riaz, has announced a 17-member squad for the five-match T20I series against New Zealand, starting from January 12 in Auckland.
In addition to the T20I squad, Wahab also announced the inclusion of nine additional players to join the training camp for the upcoming T20I series.
The invited players set to feature in the training camp include Kamran Ghulam, Omair Bin Yousuf, Sajjad Ali, Ahmed Shehzad, Mohammad Haris, Shahab Khan, Mohammad Imran, Mohammad Amir Khan and Arif Yaqoob.
“We are calling the top performers of National T20 Cup into the training camp and we will observe their performance in the camp. These nine players will join the squad members selected for New Zealand series,” Wahab said.
The training camp is scheduled to commence at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore on 28th December 28 and will conclude on 3rd January.
