Less than two weeks after the Daniel Weinman was crowned 2023 World Series of Poker champion, the schedule has been released for both the 2023 WSOP Europe (WSOPE) series and the 2023-2024 WSOP Circuit (WSOPC) International tour.
About one month following the conclusion of the WSOPE series, the World Series of Poker is heading to the Bahamas for the first ever WSOP Paradise bracelet event series. There are 15 additional bracelets to be awarded in December, but the full schedule hasn’t yet been released. Poker players should anticipate the release to occur well before the European series.
There will be some competition this coming winter between WSOP Paradise, World Poker Tour (WPT) World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas, and the European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague series.
World Series of Poker Europe Schedule Highlights
King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic will again play host to the World Series of Poker Europe this fall from October 25 until November 15. In between those dates, poker players will find 15 bracelet events scattered around with €15 million guarantees up for grabs.
The main event is, of course, the Main Event, a €10,350 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament with €5 million guaranteed beginning Nov. 10. Last year’s winner was Omar Eljach who took home €1,380,129.
Beyond the Main Event, there are a number of tournaments for all types of poker players, including the mixed game pros, such as the €2,200 8-Game Mix (Nov. 8). There are also two pot-limit Omaha tournaments on the 2023 WSOP Europe schedule, along with a €50,000 Diamond High Roller No-Limit Hold’em starting Nov. 12.
WSOP Europe does not factor into the 2023 WSOP Player of the Year race, which wrapped up in Las Vegas earlier this month with Ian Matakis coming out victorious.
