It has been a busy old week for the folk at 888poker, with the online poker site’s ChampionChip Games series in full swing and its flagship tournament, the $109 Mystery Bounty Main Event, taking place. Georgian grinder “Orion618” came out on top of the latter for $6,936, including bounties.
Some 812 players bought into last weekend’s Mystery Bounty Main Event, resulting in a guarantee-busting $81,200 prize pool. This weekend’s event sees the guarantee return to $100,000, making this tournament even better value.
Ten mystery bounties were worth four figures, including a juicy $8,000 jackpot bounty. That huge sum is nestled in the 888poker account of “Hxs87” of Romania, who busted in 38th place for $127 but also took home $8,627 from the bounty prize pool.
Shout-outs also to 128th place finisher “schneido2307” and 36th place finisher “warrior” who both scooped $3,200 bounties before their tournaments ended prematurely.
