Nick Vertucci made a bold play on Hustler Casino Live that saw him all in on the river with just king-high and a missed flush draw. But was the HCL co-owner able to get the bluff through?
The hand took place during the HCL Thirsty Thursday stream. With blinds of $10/$20/$40 and a $40 big blind ante, Vertucci raised to $300 in middle position with K♠10♠ and there were a few calls before Trick Time three-bet to $1,800 with A♠K♦ on the button. Vertucci called to see a flop heads-up.
Vertucci checked on the flop of J♠J♣4♥ and Trick Time continued for $1,830. Vertucci called with his king-high and backdoor draws. Vertucci checked again on the 2♠ turn after turning a flush draw and Trick Time kept firing with a bet of $3,320. Vertucci called.
After missing his draw on the A♥ river, Vertucci led all in for $13,460 to send Trick Time into a short tank before eventually calling with his rivered top pair.
“You win,” Vertucci said. “What a f***in’ river. Nice hand … What a sick river.”
“I should have never bet the ace. What a sick river. I was doing that no matter what.”
That’s not the only highlight hand involving Trick Time this week. The night before, he bluff-jammed the turn with a gunshot straight draw and binked the river to beat out Crypto Drew’s top pair in a $128,100 pot.
Tick Time is back in the lineup for tonight’s stream featuring Mariano, Action Dan, Sashimi and other HCL regulars.
