Men’s college hockey made up for lost time with an exciting first week back from the winter hiatus, with No. 1 Boston College falling and Michigan State rising to No. 3 in NCAA correspondent Jordan Menard’s latest Power 5 rankings.Â
Here’s a look at the rest of Menard’s rankings after Week 11:
No. 1 Boston College (Previous: 1) — BC took a 7-1 win over Providence on Friday, and despite dropping a close 4-3 to the Friars on Saturday, this team is just too good not to be my number one.

No. 2 Boston U (Previous: 2) — BU took a 4-3 overtime win over Northeastern on Tuesday and then followed up with a 3-0 shutout against New Hampshire on Saturday. On Saturday, Macklin Celebrini had two goals.
No. 3 Michigan State (Previous: 5) — The more I watch this team play together, the better they get. The Spartans took a sweep in Happy Valley this week, with a 5-0 win on Friday and a 7-3 win on Saturday. The Spartans are led by Trey Augustine, who has been an absolute unit in net.

No. 4 Wisconsin (Previous: 3) — The Badgers haven’t lost in 11 games. They took a sizable 5-0 win over Lindenwood on Friday, but tied Lindenwood on Saturday.
No. 5 Quinnipiac (Previous: NR) — The Bobcats took a sweep over Princeton over the weekend, where Collin Graf scored three points in just seven minutes. The reigning national champions outscored the Tigers 12-3.
