Some fans were apparently let down that there was no Truth or Dare reunion on stage during Madonna’s latest Madison Square Garden performance on Monday night.

According to the New York Post, Madge’s former backup singers/dancers Niki Haris and Donna De Lory — made famous in Madge’s 1991 documentary Truth or Dare — were at Monday’s MSG show but The Material Girl chose daytime talk show host Kelly Ripa to come up on stage instead during the concert segment where they judge voguing dancers.

Haris and De Lory, who performed with Madonna from 1987 until 2001 including in such music videos as Vogue, now perform as the duo Niki + Donna and had two New York shows the prior weekend at nearby Green Room 42.
The pair was asked about a possible reunion on the Pop Shop podcast beforehand and Haris said, “I have no right to give any information that is not completely confirmed as of this moment.”

“With that said, we take joy wherever we can find it — if it’s on our stage, at Madison Square Garden, wherever the joy is. In (Madonna’s) living room … The bottom line is, we’re in town,” she added.

So far, Madonna has brought audience members, family and friends onto the stage to play a judge alongside her including boyfriend Joshua Popper, her daughter Lordes Leone, and her son Rocco Richie.
De Lory was overheard saying they’d be at the concert during a meet and greet with fans at their own show on Saturday night and an insider told The Post’s Page Six they were invited as Madonna’s guests and had prominent seats near the stage.
But when the vogue judging moment came on Monday, some fans were disappointed when she had Ripa join her onstage.
“Madonna didn’t even acknowledge them,” a concertgoer told Page Six.
It’s not known whether the trio caught up backstage or after the show but the ladies appeared to have a blast.
“Thank you for the Continuous Love … We had fun NYC!!!” Haris wrote on Instagram.
