Kanye West feels social media’s wrath after wearing KKK-style hood

Rapper Kanye West is being ripped for wearing a black hood resembling that worn by members of the Ku Klux Klan during an album listening party.

West arrived at the “Vultures Rave” on Monday night with a garment covering his face and later changed into the pointy black hood as the contentious title track for his new album played.

The 46-year-old lightning rod for controversy used the new song to address allegations of past anti-Semitic behaviour, rapping, “How I’m anti-Semitic? I just f—ed a Jewish b—.”

Social-media users were quick to express their displeasure, calling the Gold Digger rapper “disgusting” and “sick,” according to the New York Post.

“Kanye wearing a KKK hood and Black people are sitting idly by. F— him and his music bro,” one person posted on the social-media site X.

“Just a remark that Kanye West is a(n) anti semite … He is a disgusting human being,” another alleged.

“This isn’t the first time of kanye doing a reference about the kkk, why are y’all shocked,” a third wrote.

Meanwhile, West’s 10-year-old daughter North was on stage with him at one point during the night.

“North looks so uncomfortable with Kanye wearing a KKK mask,” someone posted on X. “Get her off the stage bro.”

West’s other children, five-year-old daughter Chicago and eight-year-old son Saint, were also in attendance along with his new wife Bianca Censori.

West and Kim Kardashian’s divorce was finalized in November 2022.
