A B.C. man has been charged, and a second unidentified man is sought following a shooting in Brampton.

In a news release issued on Monday, Peel Regional Police said on Dec. 9 at 3:37 a.m., two men went to a local business near Rutherford Rd. S. and Clark Blvd. Cops said one of the men pulled a gun and fired multiple rounds into the business.

There were no injuries.
Police responded and intercepted one of the men as well as two firearms, a loaded magazine and ammunition.
Tanmanjot Gill, 23, from Abbotsford, B.C., has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime, discharge firearm in reckless manner, possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm, and two counts of knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm.

The second suspect remains outstanding. He is described as South Asian with a medium build, black hair, and a full beard. He was wearing a grey sweatshirt during the incident, but it is believed that he switched clothing during his escape to a black sweatshirt with a large white “X” on the back.
Police have released an image of the outstanding suspect.
