2024 NCAA DIII men’s golf championships: Format, schedule, results

The 2024 NCAA DIII men’s golf championships began with the selections on Monday, May 6, released here on NCAA.com. Championship action begins Tuesday, May 14 and continues through Friday, May 17 for championship finals at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada. 

Berths for the DIII men’s golf championships were determined on May 6, comprised of three pools:

  • Pool A: Conference champions from each conference that meets the requirements for automatic qualification (34 teams)
  • Pool B: Independent institutions and institutions that are members of conferences that do not meet the requirements for automatic qualification 
  • Pool C: Institutions from automatic-qualifying conferences that are not their conference champion and the remaining teams in Pool B

The team and individual champions will be determined after 72 holes of play or the conclusion of the last fully completed round. Forty-three teams and six individuals not on one of those teams will be selected to participate in the championships. After 36 holes of competition, the field will be cut to the top 18 teams and top six individuals not on one of those teams.
