2024 NCAA DIII football championship: Selection show info, bracket, schedule

Here’s everything you need to know for the 2024 NCAA DIII football championship that features 32 teams battling it out in a single-elimination bracket.

The 40-team championship bracket will be revealed during a selection show at 5 p.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 17, streamed here on NCAA.com. Twenty-eight teams will earn automatic qualification, while the remaining teams will be selected at large by the DIII Football Committee.

Cortland won its first-ever national title last season, defeating North Central (IL), 38-37, and stopping the Cardinals from winning back-to-back championships for the first time in school history.
