NEW DELHI: There are bowling actions and there are strange bowling actions. And cricket has evolved through time with batsmen coming up with switch hits and innovative shots to continue the run flow.
And batting has evolved more than bowling so it was refreshing and pleasantly surprising to see a young bowler in county cricket with a strange and unique bowling action.
In a video by Vitality County Championship shared on X, the bowler named Calvin Harrison can be seen bowling leg-spin.
But what’s strange is that he starts his run-up from the right of the umpire and then runs through between the umpire and the stumps like a left-arm spinner and then bowls a leg-break googly.
