Ravindra Jadeja and Yash Dayal ruled out of Bangladesh ODIs | Cricket News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who is yet to recover from his knee injury, has been ruled out of the upcoming three-match ODI series against Bangladesh in December. After getting the maiden call-up, fast bowler Yash Dayal will also not be a part of the series owing to a lower back issue.
Fast bowler Kuldeep Sen and all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed were named replacements for Dayal and Jadeja for the series starting December 4.
Jadeja had undergone a knee surgery after the Asia Cup in UAE and was then ruled out for an indefinite period.

“Dayal has a lower back issue and is ruled out of the series while Jadeja is yet to recover from his knee injury and will continue to be under the supervision of the BCCI Medical team,” BCCI press release stated.
Both Sen and Shahbaz were supposed to travel to New Zealand for the three-match ODI series beginning in Auckland on Friday. However, they will now be a part of the squad travelling to Bangladesh. No replacements have been named for the ODI squad currently in New Zealand.
