Anders Antonsen defeated Lakshya Sen in straight sets in the men’s singles quarterfinal of the Indonesian Open tournament in Jakarta on Friday.
Sen lost 22-24, 18-21 to world rank five from Denmark to crash out of the super 1000 tournament. With his defeat, India’s participation has also ended in Indonesia.
Both of them battled long into the first game but it was Antonsen who was able to seal the deal. The second game was fairly straight for the Danish. The match lasted 61 minutes.
